Los Gyros officially opened its doors in Glendale in late 2025, introducing a fresh take on Mediterranean street food to one of the city’s most delicious dining districts. The space is designed for quick lunches and late-night bites, giving diners a simple but lively spot to enjoy Mediterranean classics with a mix of two other cultures (Greek and American). Los Gyros originally served their customers from a truck, but as the business became more popular, they opened their first restaurant on North Pacific Avenue in Glendale.
When customers walk into Los Gyros, the restaurant feels warm and casual. Stepping into the restaurant, customers are met with a blue and red color scheme that projects an inviting and comfortable vibe. People often stop by for a fast meal, and the room stays busy, but not in an overwhelming way. The restaurant also offers delivery on Uber Eats and DoorDash. Another feature that makes Los Gyros unique is its made-to-order food, which ensures that customers receive fresh and flavorful meals every visit.
The menu at Los Gyros features a variety of Greek and other dishes. Their signature items are their gyros, a popular Greek dish consisting of thinly-sliced meat in a baguette, or wrapped in Cyprus or Greek pita bread with different toppings. They also have sides such as Cheese Sticks, Jalapeño Cheddar Bites, Chicken Nuggets, French Fries, Village Potatoes, Mr. Dog, and Mrs. Dog. In addition, they have many salads, sauces, and drinks from which to choose.
As Los Gyros grows, so does its popularity amongst some Clark students. “My go-to stop after sports practice is Los Gyros. My favorite thing to order is a pork gyro with French fries,” freshman Harut Mkrtchyan said.
Another reason Los Gyros has become so popular is its fast and friendly service. Customers are able to order and receive their food quickly, which makes it a convenient stop for people with busy schedules. The staff is welcoming and helpful, creating a positive experience for both first-time visitors and regular customers. This combination of quality food and good service keeps people coming back.
Overall, Los Gyros consists of delicious food, mostly Greek, but sprinkled with other choices, and is the perfect local place to stop by to get a nice meal.
