Boba Moba is a cozy walk-up cafe offering a variety of drinks and sweet treats. Recently opened in May 2025, this establishment is located at 116 N Arstakh Ave. and is surrounded by other stores in downtown Glendale, near the Americana. They have a 4.4-star rating on Google, reflecting the happiness and satisfaction of their customers. Because of Boba Moba’s convenient location near the Americana, people are able to pick up a drink and then continue shopping, which also makes it an amazing place to go with friends. Throughout a long day of shopping in the area, students and others can stop by for a sweet drink.
Some people may not know what a walk-up cafe is, which was the case for a lot of customers, until they found out about Boba Moba.
Unlike traditional cafes, where one steps inside, Boba Moba serves customers through a walk-up window. It may not be like other coffee shops, but that’s what makes it unique. With outdoor tables surrounding the shop and a beautiful view of downtown Glendale, the atmosphere feels both warm and inviting.
The store offers a selection of 45 tasty drinks. Drinks range from lattes, milk teas, fruit teas, lemonade refreshers, iced matcha lattes, organic coffee, organic tea, and fruit smoothies. Their menu goes beyond the typical milk tea flavors, offering something new for every craving.
Many Clark students go to Boba Moba as well. “My go-to order is a Biscoff Cookie Latte with cold foam, and a Dubai Chocolate Strawberries Cup or Dubai Chocolate Crepe,” said freshman Monica Piliposyan.
They have unique treats such as crepes and croffles with Ashta cream, inspired by Middle Eastern flavors. They also serve sundaes and soft serves with different toppings. Some of the eye-catching creations are the Dubai Chocolate Sundae and the Biscoff Cookie Butter Sundae, each made to look as good as they taste. Boba Moba’s Artsakh Sundae has Middle Eastern cotton candy, roasted pistachios, and is sprinkled with Armenian coffee powder, which gives the menu a dash of different cultural flavors.
“The best-selling item is probably Dubai Chocolate Strawberries, sunrise tea, or the taro matcha latte,” the owner’s daughter and employee, Nina Muradyan, said. The Dubai Chocolate Strawberries are a delicious chocolate-rich cup filled with kataifi, shredded phyllo dough originating in the Middle East, and pistachio spread, topped with sweet strawberries. “My personal favorite is a vanilla matcha with cold foam and a strawberry Nutella croffle,” Muradyan said.
Overall, Boba Moba is a perfect place to visit with friends and family. With creative drinks and unique treats, it’s a warm spot that brings people together in the heart of Glendale.
