(June 16, 2009) — As junior year rolled around at Clark some were happy that they would never again have to hear the words “freshmen males, run a mile” or “safety first.” Others, such as senior Antonella Wilby, were now disappointed in the change. “Just as the school work got twice as hard, they took away a period to get exercise and replaced it with more work,” Wilby said. She feels that in the year where student’s workloads get much bigger and their health is ruined, that they should not lose the main source of exercise available to them. “I miss Mr. Axelgard’s class because I felt healthy and fit,” Wilby said. She said that if she had felt like that as a junior, the year would have been much easier to handle.
