Senior Karine Sedrakyan works diligently to reach her goal of becoming a lawyer. She’s a hard working passionate member of mock trial. “I joined Mock Trial in my junior year, and came to learn that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Everything about the class quickly became my passion and I had a goal to contribute to the team as much as I can. Whether it was helping people learn about law and court order, or just getting everyone to be one big family, I enjoyed every part of it. It is truly rewarding to look back on all the hard work and efforts everyone put in. The class is not only about law, but also about appreciation, connections, and courage. With the hard work of everyone in the team, we won both prosecution and defense this year. This class brought out my leadership and passion for helping others. I’m going to be a lawyer in the future, and I think I will go into public law, because I care about social change and believe in fighting for those who do not have the means to do so themselves,” Sedrakyan said.
