Senior Liam Chatham, has a passion for the film industry. “I’ve always been a creative person, but I never really knew how I wanted to use that creativity. It wasn’t until around mid-2020 that I started making fun sketch videos—that was my introduction to filmmaking, which eventually grew into creating short films. Some people might not know that my work has been nominated for, and has won multiple awards from organizations like SkillsUSA, STN, and the All-American High School Film Festival. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with several successful filmmakers, creators, and entrepreneurs, giving me access to experiences and events that most high school students don’t get.
Film really is everything to me. It’s what drives me every day. I’m always looking to try new things, collaborate with new people, and keep exploring the art form in different ways. I’m not afraid to take risks or step out of my comfort zone if it means growing as a filmmaker and telling stories that matter,” Chatham said.
