Is Thanksgiving important to you and what traditions do you take part in?

I like Thanksgiving better than Christmas. We get a turkey from the same place every year and then we break the wishbone to use it for the upcoming year. My favorite thing is to eat with my parents because we usually don’t have family dinners that much anymore because we’re all busy. Usually I go see my family, but this Thanksgiving we’re going up north because I’m doing college tours. My mom starts marinating the turkey three days beforehand, so I help her do that and that’s sort of the “start” of Thanksgiving. Then on the day of Thanksgiving, I help her cook. I usually kind of tend to myself and I even get dressed up for no reason even though it’s usually just the three of us. We sit down, break the wishbone, and after eating together, we watch movies together.
