Walking in to Conrad’s in Glendale, you see all types of people enjoying themselves ― from children waiting for their French Fries to students stressed out trying to finish up their work, and don’t forget about the seniors having the famous Conrad’s coffee and chit chatting about their lives.

I visit Conrad’s so frequently that I legitimately consider it my second home, but I still have to look over the menu during every visit for some odd reason. “What can I get you today?” asks Ruben, the waiter who is almost always there when I visit. There’s no point for me to look through the pages since I know where each food item and beverage is located, yet I do it anyway and order a cup of coffee to start me off right. This Clarkie needs her coffee.

The food is always at my table very quickly and, somehow, never fails to impress. For a lot of foods, if you eat it too much, eventually you’ll get sick of it; that is certainly not the case when it comes to Conrad’s. I have been eating their famous sweet potato fries, and I can definitely say I will eat it for the rest of my life, if I had to.

Their variety of burgers gives every customer the satisfaction they need. The menu features more than kinds of burger options, including their most famous ones: Ortega Burger, Swiss Cheese Burger, Combo Triple Cheese Burger, Super Patty Melt burger and Garden Burger. Their Garden burger is their only vegetarian burger, which is my favorite of all. And let’s not forget about their famous clam chowder soup that they only make on Saturdays.

Aside from the food and service being great, Conrad’s has a festive spirit. Every year they take the liberty of decorating for the Christmas season, which gives it more of a cozy, comfortable look.

The best part of Conrad’s, however, is that it is open 24/7, which is amazing for students like my sister and I who like to sneak out late at night just for a cup of coffee. My sister with her laptop, rapidly writing a college essay and me with my notes, studying to get an A on my next math test. We sit for hours and no one ever has a problem with that; how great is that!

Starting from their enthusiastic waiters, ending with their variety of luscious food, Conrad’s Restaurant is the place to go.
