(October 17, 2012) — I want to live under a leadership where everyone contributes an equal share and receives an equal share in return. I want to live in a country where I have the chance to finish my education and get a job in the same country. And I want to be part of a world where politics and the economy are not the only concerns, but so is our planet’s health. These are few reasons why President Barack Obama should be reelected for his second term of presidency. Starting with the most important, Obama believes that good education is the gateway to success, and he has set the goal to outcompete other nations in education by setting higher standards of teaching and learning by the end of his second term. Obama will make sure that everyone has a fair shot in finishing education by increasing funds and reducing tuition, and also create more jobs for teachers. The fair argument would be that cutting education and firing teachers would not help the economy whatsoever, so why reduce education? I definitely agree with this because education can open new opportunities that would let us achieve anything. There are many things that I am proud of, and one of them is the phrase “Made in U.S.A.” During his second term, Obama will create millions of manufacturing jobs not by lowering incomes of current workers, but by giving more jobs to US citizens instead of paying overseas companies. His plan will help the U.S. work more efficiently in making products, creating a higher export rate and outsourcing fewer jobs. This plan will help both big and small businesses. On the other hand, people voting for Romney would say that he already has the perfect plans that would guarantee creating 12 million jobs, and he would even take a jobs tour if he becomes the president. Well, I am sure that Romney will enjoy his world tour, because most of these jobs will be overseas. And mentioning foreign countries, I do not think Romney knows much about foreign policy and will falsely start war with countries we are already at peace with. America should not take the risk of another heartbreak after the tragic 9/11 and war with Iraq. Rather, we should trust Obama with strengthening the military and old alliances. In the past two years, we have been less dependent on foreign countries’ oil and doubled the usage of reusable sources. I think this says a lot about Obama’s character and shows that he cares about his people and especially the younger generation. Throughout his term of presidency, Obama has taken many risks for the best of the U.S. and led us with courage and compassion. He has morals valued by many Americans and is the clear choice for the 2012 Elections. After all, General Motors is alive, and Osama Bin Laden is dead.
