(April 1, 2011) — Ever since 2009, the world has been talking about Justin Bieber. Bieber, after releasing his platinum selling debut, My World , became one of the youngest success stories. Currently at the age of 17, Bieber has appeared on multiple TV shows such as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, CSI, Silent Library, School Gyrles and Hubworld . He has also starred in Justin Bieber: Never Say Never , a film produced by MTV Films. Along with Bieber’s acting roles have also come many awards and recognition for his music. In 2010 Bieber won Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards. With Bieber’s growing career, strong and supportive fan base and great talent, Bieber’s future looks bright. His ability to sing and perform made Bieber a world renown superstar. With that type of iconic fame, at his age, many say that it’s merely Bieber’s 15 minutes of fame. Yet undoubtedly JB’s “15-mins” have lasted a while, and will continue to last due to his great talent. Arguments have risen about the Justin Bieber’s “lack of talent.” Many on YouTube and other media sites have used their social power to criticize the singer and his abilities, calling his voice “female like.” To me, the hatred on Bieber comes from the fact that those that are not famous, nor talented are jealous. The fact that Bieber at such a young age is living the dream so many find irresistible, and rather impossible makes them envy Bieber. I find it rather funny that instead of attempting to become popular on YouTube themselves, people find the need to just hate on Justin Bieber for his career.
