(March 10, 2011) — For the past two weeks, the class of 2012 has been selling Spring Formal tickets at the bottom of the amphitheater in hopes that the dance will not be canceled as it was last year. According to Junior Treasurer Ellen Azizian, over 160 tickets were sold, confirming that the dance will, in fact, be happening on March 19. The formal will feature a Monte Carlo theme with poker and blackjack tables, a James Bond costume contest, and a raffle. Prizes awarded to attendees include an iPod, jerseys, and restaurant gift cards to places like Subway, Cold Stone and Jamba Juice.
