(June 17, 2003) — Lights! Curtain! Action! Sorry folks, no camera in this performance, it’s live! “And all that jazz!” Drama Club has been around for as long as anyone can remember, to the seniors here at Clark, at least. This year, Drama Club performed a play known to mankind as “ Chicago. ” Senior performers included Katie Tello as Velma Kelly, Victoria and Eileen Raji as rave dancers, and John Fandalian as a police officer. This play received good reviewed in attendance. Junior Christine Choi, who went to the performance, said, “The acting and music was superb, the performance excellent. I liked it a lot.” Chicago was the first event in Clark’s history to sell out. People even had to stand to watch the muscal. Patrons were impressed by the professionalism, humor, and excellence of the play. The day could be considered a red-letter day in Clark’s history, for on that same day, the Junior class sponsored a car show- a first at Clark. The seniors involved will go down with that memorable history.
