(March 26, 2004) — On Saturday, 147 students arrived at Clark to dance the night away during this year’s annual Spring Formal, Paris de Nuit, formerly known as Junior Prom. As students walked in, Spanish teachers Kate Guede and Melissa O’Gara checked tickets and admitted students into the auditoria. The back wall was lit up and replicated the illuminated Paris skyline, proving its nickname as the “City of Lights.” As a centerpiece, a 12-foot reproduction of the world-famous Eiffel Tower hovered over the dancing students. Junior Lilit Vardanian was crowned prom queen. Last year’s prom queen senior Ani Goukassian attended the festivities to see her crown passed down. According junior class treasurer Illya Williams, Class of 2005 made $1,900, which will be used to finance their class’ Senior Prom.
