(June 4, 2004) — As Clark receives, so Clark must also let go. After 26 years of serving the Glendale Unified School District in school cafeterias such as Roosevelt’s, Rosemont’s and Clark’s, food services manager Anna Wibble (pronounced Why-ble) will retire in July and adjourn her position from behind the buffet in the auditeria. When Clark opened in 1998, Wibble transferred from the cafeteria of Rosemont Middle School to join Clark. Since then, she has enjoyed working behind the lunch line windows, supplying students with pizza, juice, potato boats and other foods. “It’s a really nice and pleasant place to work,” said Wibble. “I’ve worked in other schools but this has been the best one. Because everything is clean, everything is new and I really liked it. But when it’s time to go, it’s time to go.” According to Wibble, she will miss the atmosphere, the equipment and the students of the auditeria. “When I was at Roosevelt, I missed Roosevelt a lot. When I went to Rosemont, I missed Rosemont a lot. And I’m definitely going to miss Clark,” said Wibble. After her retirement, Wibble plans to remain at home for some rest and relaxation. From there, she will see how it goes and decide on other future ventures.
