(April 8, 2005) — “Man, I look too good!” Tarek Kholaki exclaimed in front of the makeshift male’s dressing room mirror, minutes before walking down the runway. Kholaki was one of the 27 senior volunteers to participate in Clark’s annual fashion show April 1, sponsored by Afterhours Formalwear. Government teacher Nick Doom and Math teacher Susan Howe also participated in the show. Male participants visited Afterhours about a week in advance to get measured and to pick up their suits. As the music started, the models strutted down the catwalk in front of a packed amphitheater, attempting to pull off their spontaneously created runway walks. Director of Activities Sandra Belderian and PE teacher Randy Tiffany were emcees for the day, lending their commentary and describing the outfits each couple was wearing.
