Georgee’s Pizza has been serving the La Cañada community since 1980. Their menu consists of standard Italian dishes including pasta, spaghetti, lasagna, or their well-known pizza.

The restaurant has a warm, cozy setting and looks like a typical pizza place — small with basic tables with mid sized green-colored leather booths and glass windows displaying the settling view of Foothill Blvd.

The walls carry framed pictures of various race horses, their trainers and a few local celebrities. The parlor provides free parking allowing one to either quickly stop by to pick up their order or to spend their time savoring over the tasty food.

I have been going to this restaurant for quite a while now, for it is a great quiet place to spend the night with friends and family. Ever since my first visit, I have always been welcomed by the friendly staff.

“The Works” pizza is a must! It consists of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, salami, meatballs, black olives, bell peppers, ham, onions and tomatoes. After being ordered, the pizza will arrive soon, and besides, time runs by so fast as you could watch the live basketball game on the TV screens hung from the walls.

If you are willing for something to take out on the go, I recommend one of Georgee’s Italian sandwiches. The “Submarine” consisting of mortadella, salami, ham, Provolone cheese, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onions, Italian dressing is one of my personal favorites.

Georgee’s provides delivery to a limit of 5-mile radius.
