“My dad’s super into music design; using softwares, VSTs (virtual studio technology), all that stuff with DAWs (digital audio workstation) and I’ve been wanting to get into that for a while. So last year, he got me a copy of Reason, which is a DAW. At the time it was really nice for him to get that for me and it’s something that I do with him so that’s probably one of my favorite gifts I received. It allowed me to bond with my father, which is something I don’t have a huge amount of time to do. On the same Christmas, I was getting better at drawing so I decided to draw a picture of my dad and I framed it and gave it to him. He loved it and has it hanged up on his bedroom.”
