Marvel movies not only fulfill our childhood dreams of the supernatural but also oftentimes tackle real-world issues with deep and complex characters.

Tom Holland is the confirmed Spider-Man for the Marvel franchise, however, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also served as past representations of the character. Marvel has recently entered a new phase in which the concept of the multiverse is being discussed, leading some fans to speculate that Garfield and Maguire will be joining Holland in the new movie, Spider-Man No Way Home

With well-grounded evidence, including an unofficial clip of Andrew Garfield said to be on the set of filming for the movie, more and more fans are beginning to believe this collaboration may be much more of a possibility. “There have already been two versions of the same character in a Marvel production like in the Loki series, so why wouldn’t they do it again?” explained Eva Zakko as reasoning as to why she believed the three actors would collaborate on the new film.

However, Maguire and Garfield are in their mid-forties, making some fans worry if the actors can fit into the role of the sixteen-year-old Peter Parker.

Marvel has been in no way discouraging the theories, using it to their advantage to gather views and enthusiasm from their audience. Marvel is expected to have a major premiere of the movie breaking box office records, but with this massive amount of enthusiasm comes even a larger amount of expectations.

The No Way Home trailer had 355.5 million global views within its first twenty-four hours of release, passing Avengers: Endgame, for the title of the most viewed trailer in the first twenty-four hours.

If in fact, Marvel decides not to include the former Spider-Men in this film, fans will be left disappointed. This disappointment can affect how well movies after this one premiere and can set the future path for not only the plot for future Marvel movies but also the company’s financial makings.

“If they’re not in it, I don’t think I’ll ever watch another Marvel movie,” said Meri Hokobyan when asked about the possibility of Maguire and Garfield not joining Holland in this new movie. .

Considering the risks at stake and Marvel’s consistent efforts to feed theories, it is safe to say that there will be a collaboration between the Spider-Man actors in the next movie.

As the sacred timeline becomes less and less stable, the possibility of different versions of the same characters interacting becomes more likely. This film-making decision not only fits well with the plot but also attracts fans, making it unlikely that Marvel would allow expectations to grow to this extent knowing the disappointment that may follow.
