On Thursday, the Clark Magnet High School PTSA held its annual Founders Day event in the auditeria. From the food to the decorations to the sound system, everything was coordinated to perfection. Although the PTSA was responsible for most of the event, they did receive help from many other dedicated volunteers.

Todd Black, brother of Robotics teacher David Black, helped program the sound system as well as the televisions in what Principal Doug Dall called a “perfect job.” Senior Susan Krkasharian baked pastries as a part of her senior project. And many other teachers helped set up the event.

The ceremony was divided into two parts as the PTSA  first discussed their finances and then began the award ceremony. Senior Mary Agajanian was first honored by counselor Karine Turdjian first for her outstanding academic achievements. Then Honorary Service Awards were handed out to teachers as well as dedicated parents and community service members. Notable winners included English teacher Conrad Pruitt and cinematography teacher Matt Stroup.

The evening ended with the Reflections Award presentations, where awards given to students for their outstanding achievements in visual arts and literature.
