Seniors enjoying their senior BBQ day
On a hot sizzling day, the aroma of barbequed burgers and hot dogs arose, along with the loud music bursting during block 2 on Sept.12. The Class of 2015 quickly took their places on the amphitheater to take the senior panoramic picture.
Photo teachers Gregory Zamlich and Eric Kursinski took the annual panoramic picture. “Even though It was near 100 degrees, it was still lots of fun being put as the shape of 15 with everyone,” said senior Lusine Agadzhanyan.
With the photo completed, seniors stood in one single file line to get their food and drinks. The staff helped out, making sure everything went smoothly. Many seniors said that the food was good.“The watermelons were the best,” said senior Pedria Ghariby.
The colorful table decorations, along with the bold bright beach ball being thrown back and forth by the seniors on a scorching day gave senior Michael Benliyan the “feeling of being at the beach with friends.” Benliyan also added, “I wish every Friday was spent like this.”
According to teacher Fred Blattner, it was another successful year of senior BBQ, and “the seniors seem to be very excited about the Catalina trip. Almost every senior has purchased their tickets.”
