The amphitheatre was buzzing with students on Sept. 9 as Club Rush began. Many searched for clubs among the more than two dozen offered that piqued their interests while others advertised clubs of which they were already members.

Natalie Isayan, a junior who is a member of KATS, said that there were especially a lot of new freshmen joining clubs. Junior Reni Sahakian, who was working at the Pre-Med Club table, said that Pre-Med Club had about 100 new members signed up for this year.

On the second day of Club Rush, the amphitheatre was less crowded as Evol Walks, a rock band, performed a few songs. The lead singer encouraged the students to partake in Club Rush upon seeing all the clubs’ posters.

The final day of Club Rush was also the hottest. Within ten minutes, the junior class sold out of their 120 Pinkberry frozen yogurts, while a much smaller crowd mingled around clubs’ tables. Junior Rubina Mashadyan said, “It was fun meeting new people and seeing what they like and dislike.” According to Patrick Castro, VP of Architecture 101, “Club Rush is better this year and more organized.”
