Humanities students take trip to Holocaust Museum

On April 1, Chris and Jennifer Davis took their tenth grade Humanities class to the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. This was the first year students visited the museum, although previous years’ sophomores went to the Museum of Tolerance.

Students toured the museum in six groups of about 20 students. The first three groups of 60 students heard a Holocaust survivor speak of her experiences in Hungary while the other groups walked through the exhibits with docents. When the groups switched, the second group heard another Holocaust survivor talk about his experiences taking refuge on a farm in Slovakia.
