Taco Azteca: creator of the most authentic Mexican food in Glendale.

Taco Azteca has been noted as the “best Mexican food in Glendale” by many loyal customers. Although crowded and small, this little hole in the wall that appears old on the outside, serves the most authentic Mexican food in Glendale. Even though the little restaurant is filled with hungry customers, the food is ready in a mere five or ten minutes.

This restaurant beats any other Mexican restaurant in the area. The beef and chicken are juicy. The rice is mixed with onion powder, garlic powder and tomato sauce, making it one of the best rice I’ve tasted. Moreover, the fish used in the tacos tastes very high quality.

Taco Azteca allows anyone to customize their order. This restaurant offers 30 different menu items for an affordable price, including carne asada, cabeza, fish tacos, pollo chicken, and much more. Over the years they have added new orders to their existing menu.

The best item on the menu is the carne asada with beef, cilantro, rice and onions. However, if one is not a fan of the carne asada, he or she can choose to get a burrito. The burrito is a decent size that can fulfill one’s appetite and comes with onions, rice, beef, cilantro, and drizzled in spicy sauce.

This restaurant is always filled with customers eager to get their hands on high quality Mexican food. Taco Azteca is always packed with people — children as young as five, teenagers (mostly from Glendale High School) and adults. It is rarely slow in this restaurant, and parking is a hassle. If you’re in the area, it is wise to walk to Taco Azteca.

Taco Azteca has some notable flaws that are worth considering. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant location since it is a very small restaurant. The seating choices are terrible, with only two tables and a few stools to sit on. One of the tables located near the stools has so much marking on it that it depreciates the restaurant’s value. This restaurant is better for picking up orders rather than staying and eating in the location since the environment is very run down.
