Los Angeles Clippers Upcoming Games Predictions

Predicted Clipper Regular Season Record by December 25:

December 5: Los Angeles Clippers at Memphis Grizzlies

Prediction: Clippers 98-93; Should be a very close game, but I just don’t see the Grizzlies beating the Clippers in any scenario. They don’t have as good a bench, or a better starting five. Although their defense and grit will prove tough, Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers will pull the win.

December 7: Los Angeles Clippers at Cleveland Cavaliers

Prediction: Clippers 110-95; The Clippers will be visiting Kyrie Irving in this should-be-easy road game win in Cleveland. Easy win road games should never be squandered because they make the difference between a first-place team and third-place team.

December 9: Los Angeles Clippers at Philadelphia 76ers

Prediction: Clippers 105-92; Another easy win for the Clippers. Unless Michael Carter-Williams has an amazing game, the Clippers should get the W, with relatively no trouble.

December 11: Los Angeles Clippers at Boston Celtics

Prediction: Clippers 117-99; The Boston Celtics will be without their star point guard Rajon Rondo (expected to return in two weeks), giving the Clippers the easy win. Although this will be the return of Celtics former Head Coach Doc Rivers (current Clippers Head Coach), I do not see the Celtics pulling out the win.To be honest, the Clippers bench could probably vanquish this young and inexperienced team.

December 12: Los Angeles Clippers at Brooklyn Nets

Prediction: Nets 112-105; Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce felt betrayed when Doc Rivers left them for the Clippers. And in my eyes these two feisty players will turn their anger into fuel for a win. This would be a very symbolic win for the Clippers, but sadly the Nets will win the game.

December 14: Los Angeles Clippers at Washington Wizards

Prediction: Clippers 100-90; Los Angeles Clippers with the win, no explanation needed.

December 16:San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Clippers

Prediction: Spurs 101-99; The unexpected and the unglamorous Spurs will beat the “champions of the West.” The Spurs are always proving people wrong, and this game will be no different. Tony Parker will have a ridiculous game, and Chris Paul will not be able to do anything about it. Just count it as an L and concentrate on the next game.

December 18: New Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Clippers

Prediction 109-93: Clippers; Although the BROW or Anthony Davis will be showing up, the Clippers will pull out the win. The sad truth is Davis does not have any help in the frontcourt and in the defense department.

December 21: Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers

Prediction 120-113: Clippers; The Los Angeles Clippers and bench will be too much for Brian Shaw and the Denver Nuggets to handle. If this game was played in Denver, a different outcome would be probable.

December 22: Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Clippers

Prediction: Timberwolves 90-88; K-LOVE! The former UCLA player will return to Los Angeles and defeat his counterpart Blake Griffin for the race of the best Power Forward. The Timberwolves match-up perfectly with the Clippers and I can see this game go to overtime or even having the Clippers win somehow.

December 25: Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors

Prediction: Golden State Warriors 116-84; The Clippers are going to visit the light-skinned shooters in Oakland on Christmas Day to a roaring sold-out crowd and will be defeated. Curry and Thompson will just have one of those nights, that the defense can’t do anything about. The Clippers should just recognize this game as a loss and move on.
