The students then saluted the flag with ASB President Christine Khachaturova, and were then on their way to eat pancakes. The freshmen stood in a line that wound all the way from the amphitheatre into the auditeria, and out the back door where they could get their food.

We had enough food, supplies, and volunteers. Everything went well.

The food being served consisted of not just pancakes, but also sausages and a choice of orange juice. According to ASB Vice President Natalie Armenian, students had to wait in a long line before they could enjoy these breakfast items. However, they all successfully received the food in the end, thanks to the help of Health teacher Randy Tiffany, Physical Education teacher Chris Axelgard, ASB officers and PAC volunteers.

Freshman Arineh Moradian thought that the pancakes were delicious and that the overall event was exciting. “The only thing that I didn’t like was the extremely long line,” said Moradian. “Other than that, it was all good.”

After all the students received their food, those who wanted more food were allowed to get a second plate of food. Students who helped with event were also treated with some breakfast.

According to Armenian, the event was a success. “We had enough food, supplies, and volunteers,” Armenian said. “Everything went well.”
