Garen Kejejian

“I was 4 years old when I started playing basketball. I enjoy playing basketball because I get to spend time with my friends. As time went by I began playing more competitively against others, and it’s a good way to get my mind off school and other problems of mine. I’m also very healthy because this sport gives me the chance to improve my technique and exercise and keep my body in shape while I’m at it. The most important thing in basketball though, is brotherhood. I’ve always said it and I’ll say it again, if it wasn’t for basketball I wouldn’t have met the most important people in my life whom I have a very strong bond with. I still have a year left to play for the Crescenta Valley High basketball team, and my club team in Pasadena. The Lakers have to be my favorite team because they have always proven themselves throughout the years with all the championships they’ve won, and I look up to Kobe Bryant and Hakeem Olajuwon.”
